Dapol N Gauge DCC Ready Decoder Installation Service

Installation of a 6-pin or Next18 decoder into any Dapol N Gauge steam loco, diesel loco, electic multiple unit (EMU) or diesel multiple unit (DMU) that is marked 'DCC Ready 6 Pin' or 'DCC Ready Next18'.If your model is an EMU or DMU, the non-motorized end car will also usually have a socket for a decoder to enable the directional red/white lights to be DCC controlled. For directional lighting to work at both ends of your EMU/DMU,you will need two decoders. For models where the motor is in one of the centre cars (e.g. Dapol Class 220 / Class 221 Voyagers), you will also require a decoder in the leading and trailing dummy cars if you want the directional lighting to function correctly on DCC.
