The speaker and sound decoder are installed in the dummy car. For the optimal experience, we recommend also installing a decoder in the motorized car that is syncronized with the sound decoder.
Step 1 - Remove body
Remove the body by turning the unit upside down and unclipping the front where the plastic tapers inwards.
Step 2 - Modify Decoder PCB
Undo the two screws holding the decoder PCB in place. Turn the PCB upside down and solder two brown wires to the solder pads marked 'Speaker +' (S+) and 'Speaker -' (S-).
Step 3 - Fit Speaker
Fit the speaker into the centre void where the motor would ordinarily be. Secure it using glue or black tack, then solder the brown wires to the speaker terminals.
